The Logistics Award 2019 to Armando de Girolamo

“the Logistics Award 2019 conferred to Armando de Girolamo, Lotras Sole Administrator and member of ER.I.C. – Emilia Romagna Intermodal Cluster- confirms how Lotras establishes itself for the creation of collaboration and system-related initiatives among the different intermodal operators”.

That is what Gianni Rotice stated, President of Confindustria Foggia, who commented the prestigious acknowledgment conferred during a ceremony held in Milan at Assolombarda: the 15th-edition initiative called “Logistico dell’Anno” (Logistics of the Year), awards the entrepreneurial institutions and managers that brought innovation in all the different segments of logistics sector and freight transport.

Among these initiatives, we have the training by which companies of the intermodal cluster of Emilia-Romagna promoted two original free training paths, through the creation of a Network Corporate Academy.

Il primo è rivolto alla formazione di Intermodal Terminal Manager, che opera all’interno dello staff direzionale in realtà complesse (interporti, scali intermodali, hub), supportando la gestione dell’infrastruttura e lo sviluppo tecnico commerciale dei servizi di trasporto intermodali;

The first path is aimed at training Intermodal Terminal Manager, who works inside the management staff in complex institutions (freight villages, intermodal terminals, hubs), by supporting the management of the infrastructure and the commercial technical development of the intermodal transport services. The second path is aimed at training Terminal Operators, a professional position able to manage the configuration of activities and the composition of the expedition and transport procedures, the documentation and operative management of the terminal and storehouse, the operations of preparation and movement of trains.

“We congratulate with Armando de Girolamo and his Lotras team for this umpteenth acknowledgement – President Rotice said at the end – which confirms their real attention also the training sector at different levels and in favour of the whole Adriatic part of Italy, as also confirmed by the constant Lotras’ commitment for the training activities carried out in Capitanata in collaboration with Universities and Higher Technical Institutes”.
