Training, logistics and intermodality - Competences and professionality to support the sector

On Wednesday 27th November at 3 p.m., at the Auditorium of Emilia-Romagna Region, there is going to be a round table discussion “Training, logistics and intermodality: competences and professionality to support the sector”. During this event, the representatives of the main intermodal hubs of Emilia-Romagna Region are going to discuss with institutions and experts of the sector about the training initiatives promoted by ER.I.C. (Emilia-Romagna Intermodal Cluster, established in 2018).  

 

During its first year of activity, by the establishment of a network Corporate Academy, ER.I.C. brought to life 2 projects for the training of professional, technical, managerial figures with specific competences in logistics and intermodal sectors.

This initiative, which was created in collaboration with “Istituto sui Trasporti e la Logistica” (Transport and Logistics Institute) Foundation and supported by Emilia-Romagna Region, has recently been awarded as “Logistico dell’Anno 2019” (Logistic of the Year 2019).

 

The Academy of the Cluster is aimed at promoting and supporting the development of new jobs, in order to contribute to the qualification and growth of logistics-productive and intermodal sector of the region, thanks to the creation of a highly specialised skill pool. This is to spur the renewal that market is requesting for the development of competitiveness of the sector.

 

Prenderanno parte alla Tavola rotonda: Giuseppe Acquaro, Amministratore Delegato Terminali Italia, Luigi Capitani, Presidente e CEO Cepim - Interporto Parma, Sergio Crespi, Direttore Generale Interporto Bologna Spa, Gino Maioli Presidente Dinazzano Po, Guido Nicolini, Amministratore Delegato Terminal Rubiera-Logtainer, Daniele Rossi, Presidente, Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico centro settentrionale, Piero Solcà, Presidente Consiglio di Amministrazione HUPAC Spa, Paolo Righetti, Presidente, Centro di Formazione Ferroviaria di Bologna.

Chiuderà i lavori il Vicepresidente e Assessore ai trasporti, reti, infrastrutture materiali e immateriali, programmazione territoriale e agenda digitale, Regione Emilia-Romagna.

 

At the round table discussion there are going to be: Mr Giuseppe Acquaro, Managing director of Terminali Italia, Mr Luigi Capitani, President and CEO Cepim – Parma Freight Village, Mr Sergio Crespi, the Director General Interporto Bologna Spa, Mr Gino Maioli President Dinazzano Po, Mr Guido Nicolini, Managing director Rubiera-Logtainer Terminal, Mr Daniele Rossi, President, Authority of Sistema Portuale del Mar Adriatico centro settentrionale (Port System of North-Central Adriatic Sea), Mr Piero Solcà, President of the board of directors HUPAC Spa, Mr Paolo Righetti, President, Centro di Formazione Ferroviaria di Bologna (Bologna Railway Training Centre).  

 

During the event, students are going to receive the qualifications for the Terminal Operator and Intermodal Terminal Manager Courses.
