The company Lotras was rewarded as the best company in the province of Foggia the 23d of May, during the first edition of the ’’Company prize Felix – the region Puglia that competes’’ .
The Prize, sponsored by the University Politecnico in Bari, by other universities in Bari, Foggia, Salento as well as by Confindustria Puglia, came from a research initiated by the journalist Michele Montemurro by examining more than 2.000 companies. The Company prize Felix aims at highlighting the companies in Puglia and supporting the companies that expand and develop the territory also through an ethical code and Corporate Social Statement to reduce the gap among the companies and the university worlds, among the young people and the job careers, putting in evidence the competitive ability from the companies in Puglia also through a socio-cultural vision. During the event, that took place in Acaya, located in the Salento area, the best companies were rewarded. Nazario and Domenico de Girolamo, both responsible for the Commercial and Develop areas at Lotras, took part at the awards ceremony, together with the President of the Confindustria in Foggia, Gianni Rotice. Nazario de Girolamo, in his short speech, thanked first of all the Prize organizers and shared the important reward with his family, staff and co-workers, stating that ‘’those kinds of initiatives, which are supported by all Universities in Puglia, prove that the region Puglia is able to be part and to make a whole system work and to support all the projects systems. This logic is clearly valid for all productive areas and above for the Logistics. This sector, for its nature, is based on different interconnected networks, preferring above all the rail networks, on multiple collaborations among partners, working in the intermodal and multimodal transport sector, and on the communication among territories related to the several networks”.
