The virtuous organization of the logistics platform in the Apulia Region, requires the networking of the main logistics and port poles to ensure to the integrated cargo shipping conditions of greater eco-sustainability and competitiveness than just road transportation connections.
This strategic and economically perspective vision is the foundation of the implementation project of the Lotras Logistics Platform of Foggia-Incoronata, that was illustrated on July 10 in Bari by the Sole Administrator of Lotras, Armando de Girolamo, during the conference organized by the College of Italian Railway Engineers (CIFI).
The Lotras Terminal, situated in the Foggia-Incoronata industrial area, in fact, is a strategic and focal point with regard to the two main traffic routes, the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian ones, and for its retrofitting area function, the entire regional system is able to connect the various logistic structures and thus achieving the critical mass of goods qualified for national and international transport.
