Armando de Girolamo, Sole Director of Lotras, a leading company in Italy for logistics in rail transport, and President of Assoferr, the national association of railway and intermodal operators, was awarded by the Foggia Lions Club “U. Giordano" from Melvin Jones, the highest honor given by Lions to people who have distinguished themselves in the promotion and development of the community. During the conferment ceremony, held as part of the XXX Charter Night of the association, the President of the Nomination Committee, Michele Curtotti, illustrated the personal and professional traits of Armando de Girolamo (on the right in the photo with the District Governor Lions 108 AB, Roberto Mastromattei), whose corporate vision, combining family tradition and solid partnership relationships with the ethics of service and the well-being of the community, has made environmental sustainability a real attitude that combines with the economic and social one.
The Lotras company, run with his sons Nazario and Domenico, has stood out for its commitment to the sustainable growth of our territory - added Curtotti - with a fruitful synergy with the world of schools and universities, promoting and encouraging initiatives ( scholarships, internships, higher education courses) for young people to enter the world of work.
