The National Transport Commission of Confindustria has visited the Lotras Terminal, meeting the top management and managers of Confindustria Foggia.
The Sole Administrator of Lotras, Armando de Girolamo described the railway infrastructure and the security and control systems of the freight traffic of the terminal to the President of the Commission, Guido Ottolenghi, and to the other members of the organization.
A moment of the meeting was then dedicated to the presentation of the project to extend the Terminal, that will allow Lotras to increase the range of services for users, thereby increasing the number of freight in transit along the railway grid of the national and international network.
At the end of the visit, the President Ottolenghi expressed his appreciation for the level of innovation and efficiency of the Lotras Terminal, which today, as added by the President of Confindustria Foggia, Gianni Rotice, is an essential and unavoidable element for the Southern Italy logistics, also in consideration of the strategies to relaunch the Port of Manfredonia and the opening of the new motorway tollgate in the industrial area of Foggia, a few hundred meters far from the Lotras Terminal.
