Lotras, sponsor of Railmed: a project for Meda 2020 - the workshop organised by Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane in collaboration with CIFI, EIAD ed UNIMED, had the pleasure and the honour to present its own Foggia based cargo Main Hub to the Iranian delegation guest of the meeting. Introducing the Lotras Terminal in Foggia as a centrepiece of the regional logistic system they also talked about the creation of new partnerships both in the rail sector and in the Italian know-how handing over.
Led by Reza Hatami and Esmaeril Mohebpour (the Chief Executive and the Delegate to the European relationships from Railways Iranian), the Iranian delegation visited the Lotras' operational centre, railway tracks and company fleet, expressing a wide approval for the innovative adopted processes and technologies especially regarding management and safety.
During the meeting, Lotras Sole Administrator, Armando De Girolamo, also highlighted the strong connection made of mutual faith and cooperation with Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane and so with Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (represented by its Production Manager, Roberto Pagone), with a constantly-growing synergy which brought Lotras to be leader in the freight cargo in Apulia.
